{"id":113305,"date":"2021-02-05T15:32:08","date_gmt":"2021-02-05T13:32:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mpascensores.es\/?p=113305"},"modified":"2021-06-16T11:39:09","modified_gmt":"2021-06-16T09:39:09","slug":"mp-takes-part-in-the-project-ecity-sevilla","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mpascensores.es\/en\/mp-takes-part-in-the-project-ecity-sevilla\/","title":{"rendered":"MP takes part in the project eCity Sevilla"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"uncode_text_column vc_custom_1572518500202\">\n<div>\n<div class=\"uncode_text_column vc_custom_1572518500202\">\n<h2>MP takes part in the project eCity Sevilla<\/h2>\n<h3>#eCitySevilla, towards the 100% sustainable city.<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"uncode_text_column vc_custom_1572518500202\">\n<div class=\"o9v6fnle cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql ii04i59q\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" data-del=\"0\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p>The project #eCitySevilla, a public-private partnership initiative led by the Andalusian Regional Government, Seville City Council, the Cartuja Science and Technology Park (PCT Cartuja) and Endesa, proposes the development of a model city on the Cartuja Island in an open, digital, decarbonised and sustainable ecosystem by 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"icon-wrap\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"et-icon size-small\">100% RENEWABLE<\/li>\n<li>100% ELECTRIC<\/li>\n<li>100% SELF-SUFFICIENT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>Thanks to this project, Isla de la Cartuja in Seville will have a fully renewable, digital and decarbonised power supply by 2025, significantly bringing forward the goal of the EU to be climate-neutral by 2050.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Five working groups are developing the strategies for each pillar of the project, namely energy, sustainable transport, buildings, digitalisation, and communication and engagement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MP is actively involved in the Sustainable Transport and Buildings groups.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In terms of the Sustainable Transport group, we are going to participate in an initial initiative which aims to encourage those who work in PCT Cartuja to use sustainable means of transport. This pilot project will last 3 months and begin at the beginning of 2021. It will use the Meep platform, a MaaS (mobility-as-a-service) app, which will be integrated with the services offered by Ciclogreen. Staff at MP will be encouraged by HR to get behind the initiative.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of the Buildings group, one of the objectives is to reduce energy consumption in the buildings in PCT Cartuja by an average of 35% by 2025. To achieve this, we will first need to identify possible measures to increase energy efficiency in each individual building.
